It is a beautiful fall day here (73 degrees!!! For a high!!!) so we decided to take my mom, who is visiting us from Pennsylvania, out to our favorite restaurant. Joe's Farm Grill has made several appearances on my blog before; we just love the atmosphere and the great food. The kids run around and play, and I get to munch on the best sweet potato fries that have ever been made. As you can see, Brooklyn also enjoys a good orange fry!

Jackson and London love the cheeseburgers there, so they split one with orange fries on the side. They eat as fast as possible so they can get back to playing. Jackson made a friend named Haley who picked him flowers. It was a budding romance; too bad we had to leave before they could make plans for an arranged marriage.
Poor Haley. She really missed out. I mean, who wouldn't want to be married to a ninja chef?

Greg got to come along with us for lunch! London perched herself next to him as she is a big Daddy's girl. I love this picture of them, minus the sun spots on Greg's face. Let's pretend they aren't there, mmmkay? Every photo can't be perfect, but the memories behind them can be.
This is what happens every time (every. single. time!) I try and take a picture of the girls together. One is this way, one is that way, one is crying, one has her eye closed, etc. One day I might get a decent shot of sisterly love. For now, you get London distracted by a bird and Brooklyn trying to figure out how to put another orange fry in a mouth already stuffed with 5 of them.
She figured it out.
Anyway, we had a lovely time! I will be so sad to see it go back up to 98 next week...I could really get used to this "being outdoors" thing!
