The Faces of the Planets

One day, Jackson asked me to take pictures of all the planets. He made a specific face for each planet, and I thought it was hysterical.
So, here you go...what the planets would look like, if they had faces!

Mercury: "Mercury is SO hot! That is why he has this 'I'm hot!' face."
Really? That is your "I'm hot!" face?

Venus: "Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system and is not a good place for humans. It is so hot because it's blasted with volcanoes that shoot lava. They are monstrous!".

This is also Jackson's "I don't want to do that!" face. He and Venus have a lot in common, apparently.

Earth: "Earth is happy because it is a good place for humans and it is very warm."

I love Earth. Thank goodness we live here, and not on cranky Venus.

Mars: "It is a little gassy, and freezing cold. It actually looks like a hot, dusty desert, but that is not true!".

Funny enough, this is kind of how I picture poor Mars. Nothing much special about him...no distinctive characteristics. Just a big red ball of freezing desert. Poor Mars.

Jupiter: "The gassiest planet in our solar system! It is also the biggest!".

Ahhhh, the "I've gotta fart!" face.

Saturn: "It is very windy and it LOVES its rings. It can even float in water!".

If only Saturn was this friendly and pleasant to live on. And now all I can ever think of when I hear Jackson talk about Saturn is this "kid quote" thing I read on Pinterest. Basically, a question was asked to a student as to why Saturn has rings, and the child replied, "Because God liked Saturn and put a ring on it." You can thank me for the Beyonce tune in your head later.

Uranus: "It's a little tilted and he doesn't like that. He can't even see his rings and he is really cold.

Excuse me while I contain my laughter over this one. Tee-hee. I am a junior higher, apparently. Uranus.

Neptune: "It is the coldest planet, and it is the farthest planet in our solar system. It is also the windiest!".

This child doesn't even know the meaning of cold.

He refused to take a Pluto picture. Funny how I grew up with 9 planets, and he only has 8. He thinks that it might be a dwarf planet, but dwarf planets don't get pictures. Go figure.
